Interviewed by the magazine "Guitarist", the great guitarist Gary Moore when asked "What does it mean to play the Blues?" he replied like this:

"It is an examination of conscience. This music is so fucking hard to play, but people don't understand it: they think it's enough to pick up the guitar, play three chords and that's the Blues. There is much more than what people believe. You are always refining, removing what you do not need, as long as what remains is the essential, what is really necessary. This is the most difficult way to play ".

I believe this is the same spirit that moves the Surgeon who is passionate about her/his art. Repeat and redo the same interventions, and each time refine your technique to get to the essential, seeking the economy of gestures, their most harmonious sequence, to express the result we have in our imagination and which inspires our work.

These days I have found that my original technique for laparosopic Witzel jejunostomy reached the top spot in the "laparoscopic Witzel" search on Google.

The original video I posted on YouTube to present my technique is seen and downloaded every day by many people. And it is a source of satisfaction for me to see that the material I have made available for free to show my technique to surgeons has an international distribution.

But above all I am happy because it is a technique I am proud of, born from the search for the essential. I went through every step in my mind, constantly redoing it and trying to refine it. I drew the steps on each piece of paper that passed my hand. And in the end I think I have achieved the execution I was looking for.

I thank all those who every day, deciding to see the video or recommend it, are intrigued and, I hope, inspired by this work.
